Ādityavardhana
Ādityavardhana · āditya-vardhana, “the one who increases the honour of Āditya”
Ādityavardhana is a king of the Candra line in the Dvāpara Yuga. The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa, where Sūta answers Śaunaka, gives him in the line of Saṃvaraṇa. He is the son of Sūryayajña, who was devoted to the solar yajña, and the father of Dvādaśātmā, whose son was Divākara. These kings ruled for somewhat less time than their fathers.
