Citrāṅgada (Gandharva)
Citrāṅgada · citra-aṅgada, “he of bright armlets”
Citrāṅgada is a gandharva who attends Bhagavān Sūrya. In the Brahma Parva’s list of those who attend Bhagavān Sūrya through the year, the gandharvas of Mārgaśīrsha and Pushya are Citrāṅgada and Aruṇāyu. With them in those months are the Ādityas Aṃśu and Bhaga, the ṛshis Kaśyapa and Kratu, the rākshasas Āpa and Vāta, and the apsarās Sahā and Sahasyā.
