Pilipiccha

Pilipiccha

Pilipiccha is a devatā of the Vāstu-maṇḍala. In his brief account of the maṇḍala, Sūta says that four are placed on its sides: Skanda in the east, Aryamā in the south, Jambhaka in the west and Pilipiccha in the north. With the forty-five devatās of the maṇḍala and the four placed at its corners, they make fifty-three, and each is worshipped with a separate mantra.
