Manoharā · manas-harā, “she who captivates the mind”
Prāṇa has other meanings too: see all meanings of Prāṇa. Dhava has other meanings too: see all meanings of Dhava.
Manoharā is the wife of Dhava, one of the eight Vasus, and the mother of his five sons: Draviṇa, Hutahavyavaha, Śiśira, Prāṇa and Ramaṇa.
Lomaharshaṇa tells the munis of the Vasus, born of Vasu, one of the ten daughters of Daksha given to Dharma. The eight famous Vasus are Āpa, Dhruva, Soma, Dhava, Anila, Anala, Pratyūsha and Prabhāsa. Of Dhava he says that his sons were born of Manoharā: Draviṇa, Hutahavyavaha, Śiśira, Prāṇa and Ramaṇa.
