Kṛshṇa, Attendant of Sūrya
Kṛshṇa, “the dark one”
Kṛshṇa is one of the attendants of Bhagavān Sūrya‘s ratha, named in the Brahma Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa. He is a being of this name and is not Śrī Kṛshṇa.
Brahmā tells Rudra who stands in service of Sūrya’s ratha and who appointed each one. Nara and Nārāyaṇa appointed Kshāra, Dhāra, Dhishaṇa and Kṛshṇa to this service.
