Kālidāsa
Kālidāsa · kālī-dāsa, “the servant of Kālī”
Per the Bhavishya Purāṇa, Kālidāsa is a learned brāhmaṇa who went with Bhojarāja on his digvijaya (conquest of the directions).
The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that Sūta said to the ṛshis: in Śālivāhana‘s line there were ten kings, and the tenth and last was Bhojarāja. Seeing the maryādā (bounds of right conduct) of the country waning, he set out for digvijaya. His army was ten thousand, and with him were Kālidāsa and other learned brāhmaṇas. He crossed the Sindhu.
