Hari-līlāmṛta

Hari-līlāmṛta · hari-līlā-amṛta, “the nectar of the līlās of Hari”

The Hari-līlāmṛta is the name under which Bopadeva told the Bhāgavatī Kathā anew. Sūta tells Śaunaka of it in the Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa.

Bopadeva was a brāhmaṇa of Totādri, a bhakta of Śrī Kṛshṇa and a master of the Vedas and Vedāṅgas. By the jñāna he gained, the Bhāgavatī Kathā arose in his heart: the eternal kathā, of the form of moksha, which Śrī Śukadeva told to the wise King Parīkshit. Bopadeva told it anew under the name Hari-līlāmṛta.
