In the Udyoga Parva

Chapter 57 of the Udyoga Parva lists the forces allied with the Pāṇḍavas. Śarabhā and Karakarsha are named there as brothers linked with the Cedi kingdom. The ruling king of Cedi was Dhṛshṭaketu, the son of Śiśupāla. He brought one akshauhiṇī (a full army division) to the side of the Pāṇḍavas. Śiśupāla, Dhṛshṭaketu’s father, was killed by Kṛshṇa. Śarabhā and Karakarsha were part of this Cedi force, with Dhṛshṭaketu, at the gathering of the Pāṇḍava allies at Upaplavya.
