Kṛśāśva is a king of the Ikshvāku line, a son of Saṃhatāśva in the line of Dhundhumāra. His brother was Akṛśāśva and his sister Haimavatī, famed as Dṛshadvatī.

His line

The Brahma Purāṇa tells that three sons were left to Dhundhumāra: Dṛḍhāśva, Candrāśva and Kapilāśva. Dṛḍhāśva had Haryaśva; Haryaśva had Nikumbha, devoted to kshatra-dharma; and Nikumbha’s son was Saṃhatāśva, skilled in battle. Saṃhatāśva’s sons were Akṛśāśva and Kṛśāśva, and his daughter was Haimavatī, famed as Dṛshadvatī. The line went on through Prasenajit, Yuvanāśva and Māndhātā, conqueror of the three worlds.
