Jumra

Jumra

The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa names Jumra in the line of Nyūha. Sūta tells Śaunaka that Yākūta, a son of Nyūha, had seven sons: Jumra, Mājūja, Mādī, Yūnāna, Tuvaloma, Saka and Tīrāsa, and separate countries became famous by their names. Jumra had ten sons, not named, and countries became famous by their names too.
