Visena

The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that Visena of the Śukla line was the son of Jayasena and ruled fifty years. He had two children, Pramodā and Modasiṃha. Visena gave his daughter Pramodā in marriage to Vikrama and gave his excellent kingdom to his son Modasiṃha. Kshatriyas born in Visena’s family are called Visenavaṃśīya. Sūta gives this in his account of the line.
