Tridhanvā

Tridhanvā · tri-dhanvā

The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that Tridhanvā was a king of the Ikshvāku line in the Satya Yuga. Sūta names him to Śaunaka in the account of the kings. He was the son of Vasumān and the father of Tayyāruṇi. He ruled 3,000 years, a thousand less than his father. With him the second pāda of the Satya Yuga came to an end.
