Tayyāruṇi

Tayyāruṇi

The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that Tayyāruṇi was a king of the Ikshvāku line in the Satya Yuga. Sūta names him to Śaunaka in the account of the kings. He was the son of Tridhanvā and the father of Triśaṅku. He ruled 2,000 years, a thousand less than his father, and went to svarga.
