Modasiṃha

Modasiṃha · moda-siṃha

The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa names Modasiṃha in the account of the Śukla line and the kshatriya lines after it. He is the son of Visena, and his sister was Pramodā. Visena gave Pramodā in marriage to Vikrama and gave his excellent kingdom to Modasiṃha. Modasiṃha’s son was Sindhuvarmā, who ruled on the bank of the Sindhu river. Sūta tells this.
