Dharmarāja, Son of Bṛhadrāja
Dharmarāja · dharma-rāja, “king of dharma”
The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that Dharmarāja was a king of the Raghu line in the Tretā Yuga. Sūta names him to Śaunaka in the account of the kings. He was the son of Bṛhadrāja and the father of Kṛtamaya. Sūta says of the whole line that all were descendants of Mahārāja Raghu, absorbed in the worship of the Devī and devoted to yajñas and yāgas, and that at the end all these kings reached Svargaloka.
