Anila (Vasu)

Anila · anila, “the wind”

Anila is one of the Eight Vasus. Sumantu names them for Śatānīka among the thirty-three devas: Dhruva, Dhara, Soma, Āpa, Anila, Anala, Pratyūsha and Prabhāta. Anila is the fifth.
