Prasasti
Prasasti
Prasasti is the pratihāra (door-keeper) of Rāvaṇa, a niśācara, in the account of Rājarshi Ajapāla in the Uttara Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa. Rāvaṇa, king of Laṅkā, asked him who had come to serve. Prasasti bowed and named Kakutstha, Māndhātā, Dhundhumāra, Gala, Arjuna, Yayāti, Nahusha, Bhīga, Rāghava, Vidūratha and many other kings, but said that King Ajapāla had not come. Rāvaṇa then sent the rākshasa Dhūmrāksha to Ajapāla with his order.
