Dhūmralocana
Dhūmralocana · dhūmra-locana, “the smoke-eyed one”
Dhūmralocana is one slain by Devī Sarasvatī, as the stuti of Kāśyapa Muni says in the Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa.
The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that Kāśyapa Muni went to Kāśmīra and satisfied Devī Sarasvatī with red flowers, akshata, dhūpa, dīpa, naivedya and pushpāñjali. In his stuti he said: “Ambā, you bear many forms, you are of the nature of huṃkāra, you slew Dhūmralocana.” Pleased, Devī Sarasvatī dwelt in his mind and gave him jñāna.
