Kratusthalā

Kratusthalā · kratu-sthalā

Kratusthalā is one of the apsarās, the divine women of svarga, who attend Bhagavān Sūrya. Sumantu Muni tells King Śatānīka how Brahmā taught Rudra on the Kāñcana Parvata about the ratha of Bhagavān Sūrya, and the groups who go with him, two months with each group. In Caitra and Vaiśākha the apsarās with him are Kratusthalā and Puñjikasthalā.
