Summary of chapter 352 of the Agni Purāṇa is as follows:
The feminine (strīliṅga) nominal paradigms are set out. Ā-stem feminines (ramā, jarā, sarvā) are declined in full, followed by i-stem feminines (buddhi), long-ī-stem feminines (nadī, kumārī), the exceptional śrī, the consonant-stem feminines vāc and dṛṣad, and the ū-stem jambū. The phonological alternations that occur at case-junctions in feminine stems — sandhi with the vibhakti endings, the softening of final consonants before voiced endings — are demonstrated through worked examples. The complete feminine declension as presented here forms the second panel of the triptych of ajanta declension alongside the masculine and neuter sections.
