The fire oblations with the Kubjikā-mūla-mantra are counted at 1,008 to complete the puraścaraṇa. The chapter concludes with a meditation on Kubjikā as the supreme Kuṇḍalinī-śakti ascending through the ṣaṭ-cakras to unite with Śiva at the sahasrāra.
